Exploring Creativity in therapy
This experiential workshop is for Counselling Practitioners and Allied Health Care professionals, interested in exploring or developing their skills and knowledge in the use of creativity in their work. A number of aspects will be explored including an introduction to the intervention of Micro Sculpt.
About the workshop
Not every session has to include, or can include, a creative action. However, sometimes working with langauge alone just isn't enough. So what do you do when words fail, things become stuck or the client looks to you for rescue? Whilst there are many ways for such a situation to be approached, at this stage it is critical that any action remains theraputic. One answer is for the practitioner to be become creative... but how do you do that?
This CPD workshop is suitable for any practitioners or clinicians looking for an introduction to working more creatively with clients in session or introducing creativity into their practice. The techniques and underlying influences within this workshop can be used with any age group, by any modality and within any setting.
The workshop can be used to contribute to your CPD log at a value of 7 hours.
